In the fatal traffic accident that shook Turkey's agenda, the statement of Ceren S., a company employee who was with Eylem Tok—the mother who fled with her 17-year-old son first to Egypt and then to the USA—on that evening, has been revealed. Ceren S. explained that she went to the scene of the accident with Eylem Tok after receiving a call from T. Cihantimur, who caused the accident, and recounted all the details of that night leading to the airport to the police.

New statements have emerged regarding the accident that occurred in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul, which shook Turkey's agenda. On the night of Friday, March 1, 17-year-old T. Cihantimur, the son of author Eylem Tok and Op. Dr. Bülent Cihantimur, struck three ATV vehicles that had stopped due to a breakdown with the vehicle he was driving. In this accident, Oğuz Murat Acı lost his life, and 4 people were injured.
After the incident, mother Eylem Tok first fled to Egypt with her son and then to the USA. The statement of Ceren S., a company employee who was with the mother and son on the evening of the incident, has been revealed, following the issuance of a Red Notice for them.
The Eyüpsultan District Police Department teams, who conducted work following the incident, determined that a total of 10 people were in two vehicles along with 17-year-old T. Cihantimur on the evening of the incident. Having taken the statements of 9 people in the two vehicles, the police also took the statement of company employee Ceren S., who was with mother Eylem Tok on the night of the incident and drove them to the airport.
"SHE WAS A BIT PANICKED..."
Stating that she was with Eylem Tok on the night of the incident, Ceren S. said, "Eylem Hanım's phone rang. As far as I understood, she spoke with her driver. However, I did not hear what they talked about. After the phone call, Eylem Hanım was a bit panicked and asked me, 'Where is the car?' When we left the table, she told me, 'We are going to pick up my son Timur.'"
"WE WENT TO PICK UP HER SON"
Ceren S. continued her statement as follows:
“Since she is my employer, I did not question it much. We left the restaurant and got into my car. I drove the vehicle. Eylem Hanım sat next to me and gave me directions. After that, her phone rang constantly. She had conversations. Since I was focused on the road, I did not hear what they were talking about. Eylem Hanım and 2 children also sat in the back seat of the car. I made a U-turn and went back the way I came.”
“WE WENT HOME FIRST”
Explaining that T. Cihantimur was in shock, Ceren S. said she heard him constantly saying to his mother, ‘the car is totaled, forgive me mom.’ Explaining that the other two children were also talking among themselves, Ceren S. said, "The son was in shock. Eylem Hanım was saying to her son, 'Are you okay?' After dropping off the two children in front of a large residential complex, we went to Eylem Tok's house."
“SHE WENT TO THE ACCIDENT SCENE WITH HER DRIVER”
Explaining that they arrived home, Ceren S. recounted the details as follows, stating that Eylem Tok told her, “You don't leave my son alone, we will go to the accident scene with the driver and check it out”:
“I went into the house with T. I asked T., 'What happened? What did you experience?' but he did not answer. He went up to his room, saying he wanted to be alone. After a while, Bülent Cihantimur, Eylem Tok, and their driver came to the house. They asked me to wait outside.”
“WE WENT TO THE AIRPORT”
Explaining that after a while, Bülent Bey stated that his son was not well and asked for him to be taken to a doctor, Ceren S. said, “While we were on the road, Eylem Hanım told me, 'Head towards the airport,' so I entered the airport road. We went to the airport.”
FLIGHT TIMES ACCORDING TO POLICE INVESTIGATION
While the details of Ceren S.'s statement entered the file, the police determined the escape times of Eylem Tok and her son in their investigation. According to the obtained camera footage and examinations, mother Eylem Tok and her son went to Istanbul Airport around 02:00 after the incident. They were seen off by the employee named Ceren S. Eylem Tok and her son processed their departure to board the flight to Egypt around 03:00. It was determined that they then flew to Egypt around 04:30.
