New development in the Hablemitoğlu assassination case
In the trial regarding the murder of Necip Hablemitoğlu, it has been decided that Kemalettin Özdemir, who is alleged to be the former police imam of FETÖ, will be heard as a witness.

According to NTV, in the case concerning the murder of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Necip Hablemitoğlu, who was shot in the head in front of his home in Çankaya, Ankara, on December 18, 2002, FETÖ leader Fetullah Gülen, as well as Mustafa Özcan, Enver Altaylı, and Aydın Köstem are being tried for "inciting premeditated murder," while retired colonels Levent Göktaş and Ahmet Tarkan Mumcuoğlu and retired major Fikret Emek are being tried for "premeditated murder," with prosecutors seeking "aggravated life imprisonment" for these charges.
In the trial where former captain Nuri Gökhan Bozkır and FETÖ fugitive Serhat Ilıcak face up to 20 years in prison for "aiding in premeditated intentional murder," a prison sentence of up to 4 years is also being requested for Göktaş's aide-de-camp, non-commissioned officer Mehmet Narin, for "membership in a criminal organization."
The only detained defendant in the case is Nuri Gökhan Bozkır. The trial, which involves 10 defendants, will continue on July 16.
