Following Tekinoğlu's detention, a new detail has emerged regarding Ali Şenyurt, a former advisor who served Cemal Enginyurt for approximately 7 years.
FORMER ADVISOR TESTIFIES AS A WITNESS
It has been learned that Şenyurt testified as a witness in the investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which is scrutinizing the financial and commercial dealings of Cemal Enginyurt's son, Alptürk Enginyurt.
According to a report by Türkiye Gazetesi, Şenyurt stated in his testimony that Alptürk Enginyurt did not possess the financial means to carry out the commercial activities in question on his own.
CLAIMS REGARDING MONEY TRANSFERS
Şenyurt alleged that some funds intended for the Enginyurt family were sent to his own bank account. Stating that he received some payments in cash, Şenyurt claimed that he subsequently transferred these funds from his account to Cemal Enginyurt or Alptürk Enginyurt.
STATEMENT REGARDING PARLIAMENTARY ALLOCATED VEHICLE
It was reported that in his testimony, Şenyurt also made statements regarding the use of a vehicle stated to be allocated to the Member of Parliament.
Accordingly, Şenyurt said that the vehicle in question was used by Recep Ali Keydal, a family friend of the Enginyurt family.
