New development in the murder investigation of Bahar Aksu, who was killed by her ex-husband

The investigation into the killing of Bahar Aksu (34), who was shot to death on May 5, continues.
Following the murder, her ex-husband Rüstem Elibol (37), who was caught while fleeing, along with his friend S.S. (35), as well as S.Y. (33) and A.B. (44) who were in the same vehicle, were referred to the courthouse after their processing at the Murder Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On Kazım Orbay Street in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood, Bahar Aksu was shot and killed while being forced into a vehicle with license plate 17 LT 343 by her ex-husband R.E. and his friend S.S. in an attempted abduction.
The fleeing ex-husband R.E., the driver of the vehicle S.S., as well as S.Y. and A.B. who were with them, were caught and taken into custody by police teams in Silivri.
In his statement at the police station, S.Y. stated that they had come to Istanbul for a trip in his vehicle as a group of 4, that the suspect R.E. told them he had some business and took them to the area where the incident occurred, that they waited there for a while, and that after seeing Bahar Aksu, R.E. and S.S. got out of the vehicle and tried to force the woman into the car, and that when the woman resisted, his friend shot the woman with a handgun before fleeing the scene.
Police teams determined that Bahar Aksu and the suspect R.E. were married in 2019 and divorced in 2022, that they had no children together, that the victim had two separate criminal complaints against the suspect in 2020 for threats and intentional injury, and that there were no active restraining orders between them.
The moment of the ex-husband R.E.'s capture was recorded by another driver on the road with a mobile phone camera, while the moment of the murder was also captured by the security camera of a nearby business.
