New development in the Seçil Erzan case! Fatih Terim's driver testified

An interim hearing was held in the case of bank branch manager Seçil Erzan, who is accused of defrauding more than 30 people, including well-known footballers such as Arda Turan, Fernando Muslera, Emre Belözoğlu, and Selçuk İnan, by claiming there was a high-yield, reliable fund and that names like Fatih Terim were also involved in this fund.

While the detained defendant Seçil Erzan connected to the hearing held at the Istanbul 41st High Criminal Court via SEGBİS (Audio and Video Information System), Fatih Terim's driver was present in the courtroom.

'I NEVER RECEIVED ANY MONEY LIKE 7.5 MILLION FROM UMUT'

Testifying as a witness, Fatih Terim's driver Umut Akgöze said, "I gave money, and I also received money; I received it on behalf of Fatih Hoca. I had 100 thousand liras, I went to the bank and met with Ms. Seçil, she said 'let's invest it,' it sounded logical, so I gave it to her. Money was being deposited on behalf of Mr. Fatih, and I was giving from that money. I was only doing errands for Fatih Terim. There were times I took money from the bank and brought it to Fatih Terim, I don't remember. Fatih Terim never went to the bank, I usually went. I witnessed one time that one of the bank employees came to the house and brought money. Also, I never went to Göktürk. I never received any money from there."

Upon Seçil Erzan asking, "I never received any money like 7.5 million from Umut, where did he deliver it to me?" Umut Akgöze replied, "I delivered the 7.5 million liras at the Florya Branch; I even got help from security to carry the money. I remember it because of the volume of the money, I am sure." The court board decided to request cell tower records between September 1, 2022, and March 7, 2023.
