ÖKTEM AND YILDIRIM MET AT THE HOSPITAL

According to a report by Anka, it was reported that Serdar Öktem, one of the detained defendants in the ongoing case regarding the death of Sinan Ateş, was transferred to Etlik City Hospital on July 4, 2023, due to a heart spasm. However, according to hospital footage, Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım also arrived at the hospital hours later on the same day and was in the same area as Öktem. The footage shows Yıldırım visiting Öktem at the hospital and also speaking with the prison guards who accompanied him.

CRIMINAL COMPLAINT FROM FAMILY LAWYERS

Lawyers for the Ateş family have alleged that this meeting was intentional and that a conversation took place between Yıldırım and Öktem involving promises of silence and release, and they have announced that they will file a criminal complaint against the individuals involved. Furthermore, they are demanding that an investigation be launched into who leaked information to the hospital.

MHP FIGURES WERE NOT QUESTIONED

Additionally, it was pointed out that many MHP figures were not questioned during the investigation into the Sinan Ateş murder. It was stated that these individuals include former MHP deputy Olcay Kılavuz and Ülkü Ocakları Chairman Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım, and questions are being raised as to whether political influence lies behind the silence of these individuals.

PETITION FOR OBJECTION: NON-PROSECUTION DECISION MUST BE LIFTED

Lawyers for Sinan Ateş's family have objected to the non-prosecution decision within the scope of the investigation and have demanded that a public lawsuit be filed against 22 suspects. It was emphasized that a more in-depth investigation should be conducted into these suspects, including Yıldırım.
