The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations that a criminal organization was established through companies operating under Can Holding, and that crimes such as 'qualified fraud', 'tax evasion', 'introducing funds of unknown origin into company accounts', and 'money laundering' were committed through this organization, continues. Within the scope of the ongoing investigation, detention warrants were issued for 10 people, including Can Holding executives Mehmet Şakir Can, Kemal Can, and Kenan Tekdağ, and 6 suspects were taken into custody. The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) was appointed as a trustee for 121 companies. While 5 of those referred to the court were arrested, Kenan Tekdağ was released under judicial control measures in the form of house arrest.

On the other hand, the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had issued a decision of non-jurisdiction. Can Holding Chairman of the Board Kemal Can, who was detained as part of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau, was arrested by the judicial authorities to whom he was referred with a request for 'arrest' on charges of 'establishing and managing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes' and 'concealing the illicit source of assets'.

An arrest warrant was issued for Turgay Ciner, who was determined to be abroad, and the TMSF Presidency was appointed as a trustee for Park Holding A.Ş., which belongs to the CİNER Group, and the companies affiliated with this holding, namely AFC İthalat İhracat Turizm A.Ş, Zeyfa İthalat İhracat A.Ş, and Silopi Elektrik Üretim A.Ş.
