New development regarding the detained Engin and Dilan Polat couple
Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, who have long been on Turkey's agenda due to allegations of money laundering and tax evasion, underwent a medical check-up at 11:00 PM.

The Polat couple and others detained in simultaneous operations conducted in 6 provinces, centered in Istanbul, were brought to the Istanbul Police Department's Vatan Campus for processing.
The investigation initiated by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the suspects, including Engin Polat and Dilan Polat, for the crimes of "laundering proceeds of crime, violation of the Tax Procedure Law, and violation of the law on the regulation of betting and games of chance in football and other sports competitions" is ongoing.
Within the scope of the investigation, a preliminary report was prepared by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) regarding the suspects, including the Polat couple, whose digital materials and ledgers were seized during previous searches of their companies.
17 SUSPECTS DETAINED
Having completed their work, the teams carried out simultaneous operations at a total of 43 addresses in Istanbul, Ankara, Yalova, Ordu, Kırklareli, and Manisa to apprehend 30 suspects whose identities had been determined.
In the operation, 17 suspects, including Engin Polat, Dilan Polat, Sinem Sıla Doğu, Kürşat Polat, Sezgin Polat, and Ahmet Gün, were detained.
THEY UNDERWENT A MEDICAL CHECK-UP
Engin Polat and Dilan Polat, who have been held in custody for hours, underwent a medical check-up at 11:00 PM.
The Polats were taken back to the Police Department after the medical check-up.
