New development regarding the prosecutor's killer

Public Prosecutor Ercan Kayhan was stabbed to death while dining at a restaurant in Çekmeköy, Istanbul. The perpetrator of the incident, Mustafa Can Gül, was transferred to the courthouse with a request for arrest following the completion of his detention procedures.
CONFESSED TO THE CHARGES
Gül, who was captured in Ömerli Neighborhood following the incident and taken into custody by the gendarmerie, was brought to the Anatolian Courthouse. It was learned that the suspect, whose statement was taken at the prosecutor's office, accepted the charges directed against him.
Following the procedures at the prosecutor's office, Gül was sent to the duty criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest on the charge of "killing with monstrous intent or by inflicting torment."
KAYHAN'S FUNERAL TO BE HELD TOMORROW
The body of Public Prosecutor Ercan Kayhan was delivered to his relatives following procedures at the Council of Forensic Medicine, where it had been taken to determine the exact cause of death.
It was reported that Kayhan's remains will be laid to rest at Küçükyalı Cemetery following a funeral prayer to be held at the Ataşehir Mimar Sinan Mosque tomorrow after Friday prayers.
