New development regarding the suspect who placed a camera in the hospital's women's restroom

The individual who was revealed to have recorded images by setting up a hidden camera device in a hospital restroom in the Bandırma district of Balıkesir has been found dead in his home.

In recent days, it was revealed in Bandırma that an individual named T.Ö. (52), who is a physically disabled person, had been recording images for years in the restroom of the Bandırma Training and Research Hospital using a hidden camera device he placed inside a bag.

During his interrogation, the suspect T.Ö. confessed that he frequently went to the hospital due to health issues, that he had prepared the device himself by using his phone camera, and that he had been taking such images from time to time for approximately 3-4 years.

In his statement, T.Ö. also claimed that this situation was a type of disorder for him and defended himself by saying that he later destroyed the images he had recorded.

In a development that occurred today, T.Ö. was found dead at his residence in Bandırma's Sunullah Neighborhood.

Upon reports that T.Ö. was not opening the door to his home, police teams arrived at the scene and encountered the individual's lifeless body when they entered. T.Ö.'s body was taken to the Bandırma Training and Research Hospital.

While a heart attack is suspected in the individual's death, the body has been sent to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute to determine the exact cause of death.
