12 suspects detained in connection with the cable car accident in Antalya's Konyaaltı district, which resulted in 1 death and 7 injuries, have been referred to the courthouse.

Following the cable car accident that occurred on Friday at the Tünektepe Cable Car Facility in the Sarısu area, detention warrants were issued for 13 suspects as part of the investigation initiated by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
B.S., Acting General Manager of Anet A.Ş., which belongs to the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, mechanical engineer O.E., Anet occupational safety specialist M.A., owners of the subcontractor maintenance company R.T. and S.T., the company's maintenance and automation supervisor S.Y., mechanical maintenance personnel S.K., K.K., O.K., Ö.E., machine technician H.A., and occupational safety specialist T.Ü.A. were taken into custody.
It was determined that one of the suspects, technician A.A., is currently abroad.
The suspects were referred to the courthouse following their procedures at the police station.
In the accident that occurred on April 12 at the cable car facility, which was busy due to the Ramadan Feast holiday, lawyer Memiş Gümüş (54) lost his life after falling from a cabin that had disintegrated, while Özlem Şahin, Kaan Akgün, Fatih Gümüş, Keziban Çapar Gümüş, Lütfullah Kerim Gümüş, Herdem Eyüpoğlu, and Kyrgyzstan national Akmaral Abdyldaeva were injured.
174 people who were left suspended in the air in 24 cabins due to the system stopping were rescued after efforts that lasted approximately 22.5 hours.
