A new system has been implemented for procedures regarding the special-stamped passport right granted to exporters. The Ministry of Trade has launched the Support Management System (DYS) to ensure that applications are processed faster and from a single center.
According to the report by Sabah, with the new application, the previously used "Special Passport Tracking Module" has been removed. From now on, passport procedures for exporting companies will be carried out via DYS.
PASSPORT ENTITLEMENT TO BE DETERMINED BY EXPORT VOLUME
According to the regulation, the right to a green passport will be determined based on the annual average export amount of companies over the last three calendar years. Companies with exports between 500 thousand dollars and 10 million dollars will be granted 1 passport, those between 10-25 million dollars will be granted 2, those between 25-50 million dollars will be granted 3, those between 50-100 million dollars will be granted 4, and companies with exports over 100 million dollars will be granted 5 passport rights.
Company owners, partners, and employees will be able to benefit from this right. However, externally appointed managers who do not hold shares and do not have an e-SGK registration, as well as firms in the process of bankruptcy, liquidation, or concordat, will not be evaluated within the scope of the application.
In the application for exporters, unlike the regulation applicable to civil servants, spouses and children will not be able to directly benefit from the green passport right.
