Due to the expected snowfall in Istanbul, Turkish Airlines (THY) has announced that some flights scheduled to depart from and arrive at Istanbul Airport on Thursday and Friday have been cancelled.
Making a statement regarding the matter on his social media account, THY Press Consultant Yahya Üstün stated, "Due to the restriction decision taken by the Meteorological Emergency Committee (MADKOM) regarding the expected snowfall in Istanbul, some of our flights departing from/arriving at Istanbul Airport on February 20 and 21 have been cancelled."
