New security camera footage has emerged regarding the incident in the Çınarcık district of Yalova in which Gül Tut, known as the artist Güllü, lost her life. The recordings from the camera at the building's entrance highlight the activity and panic in the minutes following the incident.
The indictment lists the time of Gül Tut's fall as 01:26:32. Security camera records show that the police teams entered the building at approximately 01:43. Accordingly, the footage is from about 17 minutes after the fall.
The recordings show police teams and people in the vicinity gathering at the building's entrance, with some individuals moving in a state of panic. The footage also includes moments where the defendant, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, appears visibly distressed while police officers attempt to calm her down.
In the footage, Gülter can be heard asking anxiously about her mother's condition, saying, "Isn't my mother okay?" followed by the words, "Why is he saying that?" The moments when police teams and those nearby tried to calm Gülter down were also captured on record.
DIGITAL EVIDENCE EVALUATED IN THE INDICTMENT
The 21-page indictment prepared by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office states that in addition to the camera footage of the incident, footage from after the event, audio recordings, and other digital evidence were evaluated.
The indictment notes that Gül Tut's fall occurred at 01:26:32, and that Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter and Sultan Nur Ulu began running toward the door at 01:26:37. Furthermore, it was stated that three separate impact sounds were detected before the incident, with the first sound accompanied by an "Ahh" sound, and that Tuğyan and Sultan were approximately 1 meter away from Gül Tut.
Evaluating the camera records, audio analyses, expert reports, witness statements, and digital evidence together, the prosecution has requested an aggravated life sentence for Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter for the crime of "premeditated murder of a lineal ascendant." It was reported that the indictment has been accepted by the Yalova 1st High Criminal Court.
