Since no candidate received the three-fifths majority of the total number of members stipulated by the Constitution—that is, the votes of 360 deputies—in the second round of voting, the HSK members were determined by TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş through a drawing of lots between the 2 candidates who received the highest number of votes in the second round.

In the drawing of lots, Fuzuli Aydoğdu, Hakan Yüksel, Seyfi Han, Cengiz Aydemir, and Alişan Tiryaki were elected as the new members of the HSK.

Following the completion of the HSK membership election process, TBMM Speaker Kurtulmuş adjourned the session to reconvene at 14:00.
