A total of 14 immunity files concerning 12 members of parliament, including CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and İYİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez, have been submitted to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
The presidential summaries regarding the lifting of legislative immunity have been referred by the Speaker's Office to the Joint Committee, composed of members of the Constitutional and Justice Commissions.
