New investigation following school attack in Turgutlu

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into certain posts made on social media platforms following the school attack that occurred in the Turgutlu district of Manisa.

It was reported that the investigation covers account users identified as having made provocative posts on social media networks following the incident.

Within the scope of efforts coordinated by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, the General Directorate of Security's Cyber Crimes Combat Department has examined the accounts in question. Following the findings, the accounts were reported to the relevant chief public prosecutor's offices.

It has been learned that legal proceedings have been initiated by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the users whose identities have been determined.
