İsmail Arı has previously been caught in the judicial crosshairs multiple times due to his reporting, and he recently announced that he had received death threats because of some of his news stories.
CONFIDENTIALITY ORDER ON THE FILE
According to BirGün, İsmail Arı wanted to provide a statement voluntarily as part of the investigation, but this request was not accepted. It was stated that the prosecutor's office obtained a confidentiality order for the file and that the content of the accusations directed at Arı has not even been disclosed to his lawyers.
