New military service regulation on the way: Minister Güler announced the new development!

Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler made important statements regarding Turkey's defense agenda and the military service system during his annual evaluation meeting. Announcing the changes to be made to the military service system, Minister Güler stated that a step would be taken to strengthen the family structure.

In his statement, Yaşar Güler announced that one child from a family with 3 children, and two children from a family with 4 children, will be able to perform their military service wherever they choose. This regulation will provide significant convenience for families with military service obligations. Güler stated that they will share the opinions and suggestions they have prepared on this matter with the public in the coming period.

STUDIES CONTINUE WITHIN THE SCOPE OF "YEAR OF THE FAMILY"

Minister Güler drew attention to the work carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Family and Social Services within the framework of 2023 being declared the "Year of the Family" by the Presidency. "This year was declared the Year of the Family by our President. As the Ministry of National Defense, we are working on what we can do regarding this issue, which continues under the responsibility of our Ministry of Family and Social Services. We will share a number of opinions and suggestions we have prepared on this matter in the coming period," said Güler, emphasizing that the ministries are acting together to strengthen the family structure.

Expressing that they attach great importance to the issue of family, Minister Güler stated that they opened a stand together with the Ministry of Family and Social Services at the IDEF Fair held in Istanbul.
