New operation at Antalya Metropolitan Municipality! There are detentions

A new operation was conducted this morning as part of an investigation launched by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into bribery allegations involving the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality.
Within the scope of the operation, H.A., the nephew of former deputy mayor M.A., jeweler K.A., and businessman B.Ç. were detained. The processing of those detained is ongoing at the police station.
MUHİTTİN BÖCEK HAD BEEN ARRESTED
In the investigation launched over bribery allegations, CHP Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek and his former daughter-in-law Z.K. had previously been detained. It was determined that Böcek's son, M.G.B., who was also named in the investigation, was abroad.
Muhittin Böcek, who was referred to the courthouse, was arrested by the court, while Z.K. was released under judicial control with a travel ban. Following the arrest decision, Böcek was suspended from his duties by the Ministry of Interior.
In the later stages of the investigation, individuals holding key positions in the municipality were also included in the legal process. Deputy Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality Serkan Temuçin and Tuncay Kaya, a director at the Department of Urban Aesthetics, were arrested on charges of "extortion." Halil K., who works in the IT support unit, was released under judicial control and house arrest.
Finally, yesterday, Muhittin Böcek's daughter-in-law Z.B., who returned from abroad, was also detained on charges of "laundering assets derived from crime."
