Claims that the leader of the Fetullahist structure, Fetullah Gülen, had been "extradited to Turkey by the US" were voiced yesterday by journalist Müyesser Yıldız.
However, security sources denied the allegations in question.
Following the claims, the social media account named Herkul, managed by the Fetullahist structure, released a previously unshared photo, claiming it shows Gülen's current state.
CHP deputy Oğuz Kaan Salıcı asked committee chairman Fuat Oktay to clarify the matter.
Fuat Oktay said, "I have no information, so if any of our colleagues have information, they can share it."
For days, the health status of Fetullah Gülen, whose farm in Pennsylvania has been vacated and who has been taken from there, has been a subject of discussion, with claims that he is "dying" or "dead."
WHAT HAPPENED?
Journalist Müyesser Yıldız had stated, "The latest claim to come to the agenda is that the US has handed Gülen over to the MIT, that his plane is on its way to Turkey, and that this information is being kept secret for now. We cannot know if it is true or not; but we are very sure of this: If the US has given or is going to give Gülen, it must have asked for something in return."
