The Ministry of National Education (MEB) has announced that new practices aimed at strengthening family participation in students' school orientation processes will be implemented in the new academic year.

According to the Ministry's statement, parents will also actively participate in the process as part of the orientation training. In this context, one of the parents working in the public sector will be considered on administrative leave for up to 3 hours per day between September 7 and 11.

The policy aims to increase family support during the students' school start and orientation period. In its announcement, the MEB stated that the regulation will be valid for orientation activities within the scope of the new academic year.
