Ekrem İmamoğlu, who has been commenting on developments from his social media account during his time in prison and taking care to follow the agenda closely, has made a new post regarding his lawyer, Pehlivan, who has been arrested.

Describing the development with the words 'you even stole my right to defense,' İmamoğlu used the following expressions:

"Without regard for family or law, you have committed every evil. You recognized no boundaries in the law of enmity, and you tore down all walls in psychological torture.

You even stole my right to defense; you threw my lawyer in jail simply for doing what his profession requires.

God is Great; you will be held accountable both in this world before the Supreme Turkish Judiciary and in the hereafter in the presence of the Almighty Creator.

Let everyone know this: for my homeland, for my 86 million citizens, and for our children and youth who are our future, I will continue to work and struggle despite all obstacles.

Because;

WE ARE THE TURKISH YOUTH, THIRSTY FOR JUSTICE AND WITH FULL FAITH IN DEMOCRACY. WE HAVE NOT GIVEN UP UNTIL TODAY, AND WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP FROM NOW ON."
