New rules for visits at Istanbul University!
Following the opening of the Istanbul University campus to the public, new rules have been established in response to 'security' concerns, primarily raised by students. Accordingly, visits will now be conducted via an appointment system.

Istanbul University's decision to open its campus to citizens has sparked various reactions in society. However, following the feedback received, the university has announced new visitor rules.
Accordingly, appointments must be made in advance for visits, and these appointments will be scheduled through the university's official website. During visits, entry will not be permitted to the Rectorate building's administrative offices, educational buildings, halls, study rooms-reading rooms, and lecture halls.
The new rules announced by Istanbul University are as follows:
Visits will be conducted on weekdays between 13:00 and 16:00, covering the garden of the Beyazıt campus.
Appointments are required for visits. Appointments will be made through the university's official website.
Visitors will not be able to enter the campus with their vehicles.
During visits, entry to the specified areas will not be permitted.
The campus will be closed to visitors on public holidays, exam days, and during time periods determined by the university administration.
Guests wishing to experience the historical and cultural atmosphere of the Beyazıt Campus will be subject to checks by security personnel and will receive a visitor card upon entry.
The university administration may take additional security measures when necessary.
During visits, no activities that would disrupt the university's educational and administrative operations will be carried out, and visits will be for cultural purposes only.
