The Presidency of Migration Management has issued a statement regarding returns from Turkey to Syria.
The statement noted that voluntary returns have accelerated following the developments in Syria after December 8, 2024, and recorded that a total of 411 thousand 649 Syrians have returned to their country since December 8, 2024, bringing the total number of Syrians who have returned voluntarily since 2016 to 1 million 151 thousand 652 people.
The statement also indicated that the number of Syrians under temporary protection in Turkey is 2 million 543 thousand 711.
