New taxi decision from UKOME! 1,038 taxis are being converted...
UKOME has decided to convert 1,038 of the 8+1 taxis in Istanbul into 4+1 taxis (standard taxis).

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) meeting, it was decided to convert 1,038 of the 1,755 vehicles that were previously converted from minibuses and shared taxis (dolmuş) into 8+1 taxis back into standard taxis.
The proposal in question was accepted by majority vote.
