New trustee decisions in Can Holding investigation! 9 more companies seized

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has announced that trustees have been appointed to 9 more companies as part of the Can Holding investigation. It was stated that the investigation is being expanded and continued in coordination with the SDIF, MASAK, and security units.

A new phase has been reached in the investigation conducted into Can Holding. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that trustees have been appointed to 9 more companies within the holding. In the announcement, it was stated that the investigation will continue to be expanded in coordination with the SDIF (TMSF), MASAK, the Istanbul Police Department, and the Istanbul Gendarmerie Command.

COMPANIES WITH TRUSTEES APPOINTED

The companies to which trustees were appointed within the scope of the investigation are as follows:

ARRESTED INDIVIDUALS

Various arrests have also taken place to date within the scope of the investigation. Devran Çimen, Devran Can, Mehmet Kaya, and Kemal Çimen were arrested on charges of "membership in an organization established for the purpose of committing crimes" and "money laundering." Cemal Can was sent to prison on the grounds of "membership in an organization established for the purpose of committing crimes."

On the other hand, a house arrest order and a travel ban were issued for Mehmet Kenan Tekdağ on charges of "membership in an organization established for the purpose of committing crimes" and "money laundering."

WANTED INDIVIDUALS AND PREVIOUS TRUSTEE DECISIONS

In the investigation, 4 people, including the holding's bosses Mehmet Şakir Can and Kemal Can, are still being sought. Previously, trustees had been appointed to 121 companies within the holding, and it was announced that these companies operated in various sectors such as media, electronics, education, health, energy, and tourism.
