New wave in IMM investigation: 'Give them the statement they want' call from detained Murat Ongun!

IMM Medya A.Ş. Chairman of the Board Murat Ongun, who is currently detained at Çorlu Prison, addressed his driver Kadir Öztürk, who was arrested in the IMM investigation, saying, "Give them the statement they want and get out of that prison, reunite with your children. I grant you my blessing."

In the new wave of the investigation launched into allegations of corruption within the IMM, 10 people were detained.

Hüseyin Yurttaş, the driver of IMM Sports Club President Fatih Keleş; Sabri Caner Kırca, the driver of Kadriye Kasapoğlu; Kadir Öztürk, the driver of IMM Medya A.Ş. Chairman of the Board Murat Ongun; along with Mustafa Bostancı, accountant Zafer Çimen, businesspeople Salih İlhan and Bulut Aydöner, and Ağaç AŞ employees Fatih Yağcı, Murat Or, and Ümit Polat were referred to the courthouse. Following their statements to the prosecutor's office, 8 people were referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request for arrest, and 2 people were referred with a request for judicial control. Arrest warrants were issued for Hüseyin Yurttaş, Sabri Caner Kırca, Kadir Öztürk, Mustafa Bostancı, Fatih Yağcı, Murat Or, Ümit Polat, and Bulut Aydöner.

Detained IMM Medya A.Ş. Chairman Murat Ongun addressed his driver, Kadir Öztürk, who was arrested in the same investigation.

Ongun asked Öztürk to give the statement they want, get out of prison, and reunite with his children.

"They arrested Kadir Öztürk, who was hired at the IMM during the AKP era and has been my transport officer for 6 years. His only crime is working with me and giving a truthful answer to the 1, yes 1, question asked.

Kadir, who is struggling to survive with his 4 children and wife in Küçükçekmece, is now in prison.

Dear Kadir; I know they want you to slander me, that is why they took you. Give them the statement they want and get out of that prison, reunite with your children. I grant you my blessing."
