Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his administration, who were brought to the CHP leadership by a decision of absolute nullity, had previously referred Ensar Aytekin, Ali Mahir Başarır, Gökhan Günaydın, Nurhayat Altaca Kayışoğlu, Özgür Karabat, Umut Akdoğan, Veli Ağbaba, Turan Taşkın Özer, and Burhanettin Bulut—all known for their proximity to the elected Chairman Özgür Özel—to the High Disciplinary Board with a request for expulsion.
While these disciplinary referrals remain a hot topic, it has been suggested that the wave of expulsions will continue.
Journalist Sinan Burhan, known for his proximity to the government, claimed in a statement on BengüTürk TV that a new disciplinary process could soon be on the agenda within the CHP.
According to Burhan's claim, the new list prepared by Kılıçdaroğlu and his administration includes the following names:
Adnan Beker
Cemal Enginyurt
Mahmut Tanal
Ümit Dikbayır
Gökan Zeybek
Burhan stated, "Even before it comes to that, I expect resignations by the evening of June 11 at the latest. Mr. Özgür and his team already wanted to leave with a narrative of victimhood. They will say, 'The party has been taken from us.' They will leave the party by saying, 'There is nothing left for us to do.'"
