Newborn gang prosecutor Yavuz Engin's harsh words for Yılmaz Güney: 'He is an enemy of the state, a man without a country'

Public Prosecutor Yavuz Engin, who drew attention with the 'Newborn Gang' investigation and played a significant role in the case, made a notable post on his social media account. 

Engin used very harsh expressions regarding the cinema artist Yılmaz Güney.

'HE IS AN ENEMY OF THE STATE, A MAN WITHOUT A COUNTRY'

In his post, which included a Turkish flag emoji, Yavuz Engin stated, "The memory of the Turk must be strong; one must know their friends and enemies," and added, "The person named Yılmaz Güney is a murderer of a judge. He is an enemy of the state with a terrorist mentality. He is a man without a country. Do not let your children watch him." 

HIS WORDS IN THE HEARING HAD CAUSED A STIR

Public Prosecutor Yavuz Engin, in the 'Newborn Gang' trial where Mustafa Kemal Zengin and 12 defendants are being tried, had stated that the defendants threatened him and his family with death, and his words, "I have 16 bullets and one life; if they have the power, let them come and take it," had left a mark on the hearing.
