Numan Kurtulmuş meets with South Korean National Assembly Speaker Woo
Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş held a meeting with South Korean National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-Shik in Brasília, the capital of Brazil, as part of the 10th G20 Parliamentary Speakers' Summit (P20).

TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, who is in Brasília, the capital of Brazil, for the 10th G20 Parliamentary Speakers' Summit (P20), held an important meeting with South Korean National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-Shik.
During the meeting, which took place at the Indonesian House of Representatives, Kurtulmuş congratulated Woo on his election as Speaker of the South Korean National Assembly and wished him success in his new role.
Stating that although Turkey and South Korea are geographically far apart, they are two nations that feel very close to each other, Kurtulmuş noted that this brotherhood between the peoples also makes a positive contribution to the bilateral relations between Turkey and South Korea.
Pointing out that the strategic partnership relations between the two countries have been continuously developing since 2012, Kurtulmuş stated that Turkey and South Korea represent two nations that feel close to one another.
Furthermore, he expressed that the goal is to increase the trade volume between the countries to 15 billion dollars and emphasized the importance of joint work in every field.
Kurtulmuş invited the South Korean National Assembly Speaker to Turkey.
The meeting was also attended by AKP Erzurum Deputy Selami Altınok, TBMM Administrative Officer and MHP Gaziantep Deputy Sermet Atay, CHP Trabzon Deputy Sibel Suiçmez, and Turkey's Ambassador to Brazil Halil İbrahim Akça.
