Numan Kurtulmuş's sharp reaction to DEM's Gergerlioğlu: 'Sit back down'

Tense moments occurred between Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş and DEM Party MP Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu during the special session on Gaza.

Kurtulmuş told Gergerlioğlu, "If you want to hold a rally, go outside and do it; you cannot disrupt the harmony of the Parliament, sit back down!"

DEM Party Kocaeli MP Ömer Faruk Gergerlioğlu stood up during the speech of AKP İstanbul MP Hasan Turan and reacted to Turan.

Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş responded to Gergerlioğlu, saying, "If you want to hold a rally, go outside and do it; you cannot disrupt the harmony of the Parliament.

Do not hold such cheap rallies here; if you are going to speak on behalf of your group, stand up and speak.

If you are going to request the floor from your seat, do so, but you cannot hold a separate rally. This is the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, sit back down."
