Number of arrests in Grand Kartal Hotel fire investigation rises to 19
The number of people arrested as part of the investigation into the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Bolu has reached 19. In the investigation, which also saw the arrest of Gazelle Hotel General Manager Ahmet Demir, it was decided to temporarily close the hotel.

The investigation conducted by the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the fire that broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel on January 21 is ongoing.
Following their procedures at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Gülener, Coşkun, and Acar, along with the hotel's interior architect A.B., were referred to the Bolu Courthouse and brought before a judge after their prosecutor interrogations. While interior architect A.B. was released, the other three suspects were arrested.
AHMET DEMİR ALSO ARRESTED
It was reported that Gazelle Hotel General Manager Ahmet Demir was also arrested after being referred to the criminal judgeship of peace within the scope of the same investigation. With these developments, the number of people arrested in connection with the fire has risen to 19.
On the other hand, in a statement made by the Gazelle Hotel, it was announced that a decision had been made to temporarily close the hotel.
Previously, 15 people, including the owner of the Grand Kartal Hotel, Halit Ergül, the company's general manager Emir Aras, and hotel manager Zeki Yılmaz, had been arrested, while 6 people were released under judicial control conditions.
