In Istanbul's Beşiktaş district, tense moments occurred on the morning of April 7 following an armed attack against police in front of the plaza housing the Israeli Consulate.

During the clash that broke out between security forces and the attackers, one of the attackers was killed, and two suspects were captured wounded. The wounded attackers were taken to the hospital for treatment. Two police officers also sustained minor injuries during the exchange of fire.
