Number of detentions rises in 9th wave of operation against IMM
The number of detentions in the 9th wave of the operation targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has risen to 45. Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney and other suspects are being referred to the courthouse.

A new development has occurred on the fourth day of the detention process in the 9th wave of the operation conducted against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). On Friday, 44 people, including Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney, were taken into custody. Today, one more person was detained, bringing the total number to 45.
Among those detained are İnan Güney's sister, brother-in-law, chief of staff, İmamoğlu’s official driver, a relative of Murat Ongun, and various IMM employees. Procedures are underway to refer these individuals to the courthouse.
