Objection to Ahmet Özer's detention rejected

The objection filed against the detention of Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, who was arrested after a trustee was appointed in his place, has been rejected. CHP Deputy Chairman Murat Bakan, Istanbul Bar Association President İbrahim Kaboğlu, Ahmet Özer's daughter, lawyer Seraf Özer, and numerous CHP members went to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan today to file an objection to Ahmet Özer's detention.

The objection filed by the CHP was rejected on the same day.
