According to the information received, in the case where the verdict was announced yesterday by the Ankara 32nd High Criminal Court, the prosecutor of the hearing objected to the decision regarding defendant Serdar Öktem, whose file was separated and who was ordered to be released under judicial control.

In the justification for the objection, it was stated that judicial control measures would be insufficient, taking into account the nature and character of the crime attributed to Öktem, who is being tried for "aiding in premeditated murder," the existence of concrete facts indicating strong suspicion of the crime, and the penalty amount specified in the law for the alleged crime.

The objection, which also stated that there is a risk of the defendant fleeing the trial, requested that the release decision be overturned and the defendant be arrested.
