Obsessive neighbor stabs young woman in the neck in the middle of the street
In the Kemalpaşa district of İzmir, a man followed his young neighbor, whom he was obsessed with, and attacked her by stabbing her in the neck and beating her. The moments of the attack, during which the individual also stole the young woman's mobile phone, were captured on camera.

According to the information obtained, the incident took place in the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk neighborhood of the Kemalpaşa district. 17-year-old Ç.E.D. attacked 18-year-old Betül Ç., a neighbor he was obsessed with, while she was walking down the street after following her in the morning hours.
Following a pursuit, the individual stabbed the young woman in the neck and beat her. The suspect then took Betül Ç.'s mobile phone and fled the scene. Although citizens passing through the area during the incident ran after the attacker, they were unable to catch him.
While the events were captured on camera, the young woman was taken to the hospital for treatment. Ç.E.D., who was caught and detained at his father's house in Beşyol, Bornova, was arrested by the court.
