AKP sources have provided assessments regarding field studies concerning the second reconciliation process, referred to as 'Terror-Free Turkey.'
AKP sources stated that they have been conducting public opinion polls since the beginning of the process, noting: "We have been commissioning surveys on this issue from the very beginning. Support, which was at 60-70 percent at the start of the process, has now exceeded 80 percent. We have observed this personally in the field. However, claims regarding granting status to Öcalan in relation to the process or the construction of a villa on İmralı naturally draw backlash."
