In a statement made on OGM's social media account, it was stated: "We have brought the fires that occurred in Fethiye and Köyceğiz under control. Our cooling efforts continue in both regions.
We would like to thank our volunteers, institutions, local governments, NGOs, and citizens who supported our fight against the fires.
During this period, which is risky in terms of forest fires; let us not light fires in open areas, let us not burn stubble or garden waste, and let us avoid any behavior that could cause a fire."
