During the debates over his asset declaration, Altınok had said, "The property is not ours, it belongs to God; we are just trustees." Journalist Murat Ağırel, who followed the AKP Ankara candidate's asset declaration announcement, had alleged that there were omissions in the declaration. A new statement has come from Ağırel regarding the declaration.

Ağırel revealed the omissions in Turgut Altınok's asset declaration list on the 'Kayda Geçsin' program broadcast on Halk TV.

600 APARTMENTS NOT DECLARED

AKP's Ankara candidate Turgut Altınok announced his assets, which have been a topic of discussion for days, via his social media account. According to the list provided in this announcement, Altınok's assets consisted of 22 plots of land, 23 fields, 9 houses, 2 masonry houses, 2 masonry buildings, and 1 orchard. Ağırel shared information that Turgut Altınok also owns 600 apartments in Antalya.

Journalist Murat Ağırel made the following statements:

"A follower reached out to me and said that in addition to the 6 million square meters on the lists, housing is being built near the airport in Antalya and that Mr. Altınok has 600 apartments there.

These were not declared. Photos and parcel information were sent, and people there made this claim. When I tried to reach out to Altınok's side, they did not get back to me."

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

Journalist Murat Ağırel had previously drawn attention with a post on his social media account, noting, "Only the real estate was declared, but their values and sizes were not."

In his post, Murat Ağırel stated, "Turgut Altınok did not disclose his assets yesterday. According to his declaration: 22 plots of land, 13 houses, 25 fields, 1 gas station, and 67 apartments falling to his share from the family company, 4 shops! Only the real estate was declared, but their values and sizes were not.

Mr. Mayor also did not disclose rental income, vehicles, gold, foreign currency, jewelry, or active bank account statuses. I looked at the sizes of the plots he declared.

A total of 6 million square meters! That is 6,000 decares, 6 square kilometers... Larger than the surface area of Monaco... I wonder if there are other ongoing constructions in other provinces on behalf of the real estate company? How many hundreds of apartments will be built in the ongoing constructions?" he said, publishing another list.
