The incident occurred around 14:00 at the Halkevi bridge on the D-100 highway. According to allegations, 32-year-old Nuri D. threw himself onto the train tracks from the pedestrian bridge.
Police and emergency teams were dispatched to the scene, and an investigation determined that the individual, who had fallen headfirst, died at the scene.
