The suspects, who did not comply with the police's 'stop' order, began to flee while moving in their vehicle. Police teams managed to corner the taxi in the Karacaahmet neighborhood. During the tense moments that followed, the suspects opened fire on the police with the pump-action shotgun.

Thanks to the composure and planned operation of the security forces, the individuals were neutralized and taken into custody in a short time. The driver, Ramazan Y., who was held hostage during the incident, was slightly injured in the finger and was taken for treatment after the initial intervention by medical teams.
