Operation against Barış Boyun and the leader of the Daltonlar!

157 suspects have been apprehended in operations targeting the Daltonlar and Barış Boyun organized crime groups, both of which are sought by Interpol via Red Notice. Large quantities of weapons, narcotics, and cash were seized during the operations.

A major blow has been dealt to organized crime groups as part of the "KUYU-36" operations, conducted under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The operations were carried out by teams from the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Organized Crime Branch, targeting two separate criminal organizations led by B.B. and B.C.G., who are currently detained abroad and are subject to Interpol Red Notices.

157 SUSPECTS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

While 157 suspects were taken into custody during the operations, it was determined that the suspects were involved in more than 100 crimes using stolen vehicles or motorcycles with riders wearing helmets.

Investigations have been launched against the suspects for crimes including "Intentional Killing," "Intentional Injury," "Arms Trafficking," "Manufacturing and Trafficking of Narcotics," and "Intentional Endangerment of General Security."

According to a statement made by Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya on social media, 40 unlicensed pistols, 10 automatic pistols, 5 pump-action shotguns, 3 AK-47 long-barreled rifles, 2 hand grenades, 9 bulletproof vests, various amounts of narcotics, and a large quantity of foreign currency and Turkish Lira were seized during the operations.

Following the operations, Minister Yerlikaya issued a statement on his social media account, declaring that the fight against criminal organizations will continue with determination and stating that security forces will not allow such criminal structures to exist.
