As part of the investigation, detention warrants were issued for a total of 54 people, including 6 lawyers, who are suspected of preventing suspects from testifying or ensuring they provided false testimony.
45 suspects were apprehended during the operations. It was reported that efforts are ongoing to capture the 9 individuals for whom detention warrants remain active.
In a statement by Akın Gürlek, it was noted that the suspects are believed to have been involved in "qualified extortion and threats" and are suspected of providing financial support to members of the criminal organization.
