Operation against FETÖ by MIT and Gendarmerie in İzmir: 6 people captured
In İzmir, 6 suspects were detained in an operation conducted by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the Gendarmerie targeting the clandestine structure of the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ).

The İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued arrest warrants for 7 people on charges of being within the clandestine structure of the organization as part of investigations into FETÖ.
In this context, simultaneous raids were carried out on the identified addresses of the suspects under the coordination of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Counter-Terrorism Branch and MIT.
The 6 suspects captured in the operation were taken to the Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Counter-Terrorism Branch for questioning.
It was determined that one suspect is abroad.
