169 people were apprehended in operations conducted against FETÖ across 42 provinces. Footage shared regarding the operation showed one suspect hiding behind a wardrobe.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 169 suspects were taken into custody during operations conducted against FETÖ in 42 provinces.

Sharing on his social media account, Yerlikaya stated that within the scope of the operations, 169 suspects were apprehended who were sought for crimes including being part of the FETÖ terrorist organization's "current structure, financial structure, student structure, secret police structure, secret military structure," operating within various professional groups, conducting propaganda for the organization via social media platforms, being in contact with individuals responsible within the organization via payphones, being coded as advantageous in interviews within the scope of individual exam investigations, being users of the organization's encrypted communication program "ByLock," being named in testimonies and identifications within the scope of FETÖ investigations, and having finalized prison sentences and arrest warrants against them.

Yerlikaya stated that unlicensed pistols and rifles, a large amount of foreign currency and Turkish Lira, as well as numerous documents and digital materials were seized as a result of the operations.
