Operation against FETÖ's student structure

11 suspects were taken into custody in an operation conducted against the student structure of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ).

In the investigation carried out by the Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into FETÖ's current student structure, it was determined that 11 suspects organized organizational programs for students attending high school and primary school.

It was determined that the suspects organized events such as cinema, bowling, trips, and camps to increase the sense of belonging to the organization among children of families connected and affiliated with the organization, as well as their loyalty to the individuals overseeing them, and that the students were handed over to the organization's house or its supervisor by their families.

Following the detention order issued by the prosecutor's office, security forces took action and apprehended 11 suspects in operations conducted in Istanbul and Kocaeli.

The processing of the suspects is ongoing.
