Operation against illegal cigarette factory in İzmir! Products worth 52 million TL seized

In an operation carried out against an illegally operating cigarette factory in the Tire district of İzmir, products with a market value of 52 million TL were seized.

During the raid, a cigarette production machine with a daily production capacity of 9 thousand units was seized, along with 1 thousand 300 kilograms of shredded tobacco, 308 thousand 400 unbanded illegal cigarettes, 182 thousand 476 cigarette filters, materials, and machinery. Two suspects were taken into custody regarding the seized products, which have a total market value of approximately 52 million TL.

 While it was determined that the cigarettes produced in the illegal factory were immediately put on the market, the investigation is ongoing.
