Operation against organized crime group in İzmir: 15 people in custody

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 15 suspects, members of an organized crime group led by Adnan Üstün, were apprehended in an operation conducted in İzmir.

Minister Yerlikaya's statement is as follows:

“The 'KUYU-19' operation was conducted in İzmir against an organized crime group led by Adnan Üstün (currently a fugitive abroad).

In the operation, 15 suspects who are members of the organized crime group were apprehended.

I want our noble nation to know that;

Those who are arrogant in crime, those who disturb the peace of our people, organized crime groups, and gangs will fall into the pits they have dug. We are determined to dismantle organized crime groups, no matter their size, and deliver them to justice.”
